Knauf is still providing training services – in person and virtually
We’re still willing and able to deliver secure training sessions for our customers on Knauf products and systems, says Knauf Training Services Manager, Chris Lee.
We have had a lot of enquiries regarding the sort of training we can give during these challenging times – and the answer is plenty! We can conduct Covid-safe training on clients’ premises, as well as providing remote, virtual support.
We currently offer several training sessions in person on site, such as product demonstrations or tuition. To allow this training to continue, we developed an app to ensure all our staff and customers have the correct Covid-safe procedures in place before any visit – from an initial Covid assessment provided by the client through to ensuring health & safety compliant PPE is worn by all parties. This gives both our clients and our staff the reassurance that training that needs to be held in person can still go ahead.
One of our most popular product demonstrations is on Knauf Airless, the highly efficient spray finish alternative to traditional plaster. Offering speed and efficiency throughout the application process and significantly reducing the quantity of water needed on site, our training staff can simply show how easy it is to apply Knauf Airless and leave you wondering why you haven’t used it before.
Knauf Airless is just one of several Finishing Solutions that we can provide support on. Whether you’re interested in spray Finishes, Premium Powdered Jointing materials or Ready-mixed Jointing compounds, our training staff will take you through step by step to ensure you feel comfortable using our products.
Knauf has also found other new ways to offer training, development and assistance. We’ve been conducting site visits, delivering CPDs and providing site supervisory courses all on a virtual basis across several platforms. We can conduct site walkthroughs using pre-recorded videos of the site – whichever way the customer feels most comfortable in accessing our support.
We’re able to provide virtual technical support thereafter, whether it be refresher courses or a more in-depth look at specific solutions – whatever the client requires. We can run through the features and benefits, supply background knowledge or give practical demonstrations of Knauf products and systems being applied.
In short, Knauf Technical and Training Services have adapted incredibly well, proving their flexibility and are very much here and happy to help, both on site and virtually!
