Technical support teams
Overview
Our Technical Support Officers (TSOs) work hand in hand with our Design Engineers and Project Specification Managers (PSMs).
The TSOs answer technical enquiries from customers, installers, and other contacts. Our Design Engineers have extensive knowledge of exterior systems and work closely with TSOs to answer questions related to exteriors, steel framing systems (SFS) and facades.
Our Project Specification Managers are all highly skilled and technically qualified, and specialise in bespoke design using our products and value engineering large projects.
We also have Technical Instructors who can do site visits to give technical advice and support.

BIM
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a way to digitally present the information about every component in a building. It allows architects, designers, engineers and other construction professionals to access the information and get a whole picture of the design, to reduce risks or mistakes. It can also be used to manage building facilities after completion.
What is a BIM Object?
BIM objects are representations of products that contain product properties, physical characterists and functional data that can be imported into design software.
We provide free BIM objects for our products and systems, accessed at the NBS National BIM Library.
