Impact Duty

Impact Duty rating refers to a products performance under forceful contact or collision with an object.

Knauf systems are impact rated in accordance with BS 5234: Part 2: 1992 Annexes B, C, D and E.

The standard includes partition stiffness, hard body impact, soft body impact, door slamming, crowd pressure, heavyweight anchorages and lightweight anchorages.

Based on test results, systems are awarded a rating from low to severe.
