Critical Care
With most construction sites currently closed, Knauf UK is working hard to prioritise orders that are destined for hospitals and critical care projects around the country.
The nature of the supply chain means that Knauf may not know where its products are to be used. In the midst of the Coronavirus Knauf’s Customer Services Desk is still taking orders, but has increased its information-gathering to ensure that priority is given to NHS projects.
Deliveries are being made to at least eleven of these projects around the UK where building work continues – or is even accelerating – to meet the growing healthcare challenge.
All working from home, the Knauf Customer Services Team is speedily processing orders and product is being despatched from Knauf stocks held at the two UK factories. Technical enquires continue to be received too and are being answered by email by the home-based Technical Services Team.
Regional Sales Director Graham Chenoweth paid tribute to a strong team spirit: “we are working in close co-operation with our distributors and contractors to identify the projects that need prioritising and making sure that deliveries are completed efficiently and in full. It’s a great example of Knauf living its promise to Build for the World We Live In – even when that world is exceptional.”
