National Apprenticeships week 2020
(3rd to 9th February)
The theme of this year’s National Apprenticeships Week is ‘Look Beyond’, encouraging everyone to celebrate the diversity of opportunity and value that apprentices bring to the workplace.
Apprenticeships are about coaching the future generation of Knauf employees – we’re developing our own home-grown talent that will enable us to drive our business forward. Through the hire of apprentices, our staff are able to impart their tacit knowledge to the prospective workforce. It also provides the business with a great opportunity to guide, coach, and mentor individuals who are eager to learn and develop their careers with us.

An apprenticeship is a career with accompanying assessment and development programmes. It is an opportunity for individuals to ‘earn while they learn’. By doing so, apprentices are able to gain a wealth of knowledge in their chosen industry while gaining qualifications.

Knauf UK & Ireland have a responsibility to ensure our apprentices have a rich experience working in their chosen line of work, supported by experienced members of staff and encouraged to develop.
