Knauf UK is proud to be an official partner of the exciting new visitor attraction at the home of British motor racing. In this role, Knauf has provided many of the drylining products that make a significant contribution to this impressive facility.
The Silverstone Experience (TSE) officially opened its doors to the public at the end of October and is already welcoming hundreds of visitors daily.
When discussing the partnership with Knauf UK, Sally Reynolds, Chief Executive of TSE said:

TSE is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors a year to the new interactive and dynamic exhibition, guiding visitors through a thrilling two-hour journey covering Britain’s motor racing past, present and future.
Aesthetic considerations were not the only factor in product specification: recognising that motor racing is not the quietest sport, Knauf Soundshield Plus is used extensively within the exhibition space.
Knauf Soundshield Plus offers up to 62dB (Rw) sound insulation and up to 90 minutes’ fire resistance. It is designed to be used as a cladding component in partitions and lining systems when sound reduction is the key objective.
Knauf is proud to be a recognised supporter of TSE which has been supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund players through a £9.1million Heritage Lottery Fund grant. The new attraction will celebrate the internationally renowned Silverstone racing circuit in the only remaining WWII hangar on the site which has been fully refurbished to create an authentic backdrop for the experience.
