Last week, in our showroom, we held our first panel talk with Dezeen (the architecture, interiors and design magazine) on Acoustics in Architecture. The talk was moderated by Dezeen’s Editorial Director, Amy Frearson and featured a panel of experienced architects who have worked on a number of acoustic leading large projects.
Jason Flanagan - Creative Director, Flanagan Lawrence
Jason is the Design Director for Flanagan Lawrence Architects, and leads teams on a diverse range of projects, including performing arts centre’s and sound shells, rural and urban masterplans, hotels and spas, residential projects, and commercial offices. Jason has a special interest in acoustics and sound, with an extensive track record of designing public buildings for the performing arts.
Elizabeth Thompson - Project Director, Scott Brownrigg
Elizabeth has a wealth of experience in both architecture and interior design. She has worked on a wide range of projects including commercial, masterplanning, residential and education schemes. She has also played a key role in the design and delivery of bespoke private houses, sports facilities, student accommodation, conservation and various building refurbishments.
Dominic Gaunt - Design Director, Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt
Dominic has led many of the most complex projects within his practice, bringing his dynamic approach to challenging client briefs and designing high-quality buildings. He is responsible for the overall design quality across the studio and ensures high standards are maintained across all projects and teams, leading regular design and sustainability reviews within Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt.
