Henry Bros wins new £13m contract for Loughborough STEMLab

Henry Brothers has celebrated picking up a £12.5 million contract to build a science, technology, engineering and mathematics teaching building at Loughborough University.This contract is among one of the biggest that the construction company has picked up in the past few years.Known as STEMLab, the 55,000 sq ft building will allow the University to enhance teaching space and laboratories.Set to open in 2017, the building will have engineering, physics, chemistry and biology labs for students to enjoy.Speaking on the new contract, Ian Taylor from Henry Brothers Midland MD, said: "We are delighted with the award of the STEMLab Building for Loughborough University and look forward to working with the University team in this exciting new project."The STEMLab building is the fifth in a string of successful contracts for Henry Brothers this year.Other recent wins include Aldercar Community College, Loughborough Towers Dining, Scottish Parliament and the RAF Lossiemouth New Installed Engine Test Facility.
