Our products
Our plasterboard is manufactured from the most sustainable sources of gypsum available and we only use 100% recycled paper liners.
Knauf plasterboard is durable, does not naturally deteriorate and is also simple to recycle.
The same is true of our metal systems - build to last and entirely recyclable when required.
We work with contractors to reduce on-site waste and increase their recycling capacity.
Thinking in generations and working sustainably has been a key attribute of our family business from the very start. We are free to make bold decisions, whose benefits will only be felt by our children and grandchildren.
Our goals
Our goal is to reach net-zero carbon five years ahead of the Paris agreement, by 2045. We will cut directly controlled CO2 emissions in half, in less than ten years from now, when we celebrate Knauf's 100th birthday in 2032.
By that time, we will also have reduced our water withdrawals by a fifth and ceased to produce any waste to disposal from our plants, quarries, and mines.
