The Knauf Summer of Sport campaign has been shortlisted for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Marketing Excellence Awards 2017 for Best use of Social Media.
The shortlist announcement follows the recent triumph at the Construction Marketing Awards where the hugely successful Facebook promotion won Best Social Media Campaign 2016.
The Knauf Summer of Sport was created with the intention of driving likes and followers to the brand new Knauf Facebook group amongst contractors and plasterers. With the 2016 summer filled with major sporting events to capitalise on, the Summer of Sport tapped into public enthusiasm by creating whiteboard videos, as well as offering sport-related prizes.
Marketing Manager at Knauf, Amrik Sanghera, is thrilled that the Summer of Sport campaign is getting the recognition it deserves.

The CIM Marketing Excellence Awards promotes and rewards exceptional organisations and individuals. The awards will be presented on April 27 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
